  Welcome to Southern Oregon

About Martin Lenk Real Estate

Martin has been a Real Estate Professional in Southern Oregon since 2002.  With his family, he moved here after 25 years in the Eugene/Springfield area.

Initially, he spent three years with a large regional real estate company.  Next he spent four years with a large international real estate company.  At the beginning of 2009 he started his own company.

Experience is very important in the real estate profession, and now more than ever, so is education and training.  The State of Oregon requires licensees have 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years...Martin takes 100 hours during that time.

Martin's other life experiences add to his value as your Agent.

Solid Footing - As a young man, he was a carpenter and learned the importance of creating a solid foundation on which to build everything else.

Teamwork - He is a Vietnam veteran, serving with the Marines 1965-68.  It's important to know you can depend on the others in your team.

Leadership & Service - Martin serves on the Ashland Community Hospital Board of Directors and is a Director and President of the Rogue Valley Peace Choir.  Before moving to Ashland, Martin was a member of the Springfield School Board for 5 years and a Director with the Lane County Council of Governments.

Performance - Martin and his family have been in the "spotlight" for many years.  In fact, Martin & Karen met as dancing partners in Little Theater of the Bay's production of West Side Story.  The best productions (and families) are the ones where everybody works together.

Roots - While Martin is somewhat new to the Rogue Valley, part of his wife Karen's family first moved to Ashland in 1904.  The other part had already been in the area for thousands of years, along the Klamath River in Northern California.
